My story

Piano and I met when I was five. It remained a lifetime companion. And I am glad to have been fortunate enough to bring the love for music to more than a thousand students in the past 42 years.

Credentials in a nutshell

Born and raised in Kosice. That is nowadays Slovakia.

1967-1972: 
Conservatorium in Kosice 

  • Performance and teaching degree
  • Solo concerts in Hungary, the Soviet Union, and Poland

 
1973 - 1976: 
University of Sussex: Class II.I

  • Major: Composition
  • Solo performances and piano tuition of the undergraduates

 
 1976 - 1978:   
Guildhall School of Music

  • Postgraduate performance study with James Gibb and David Wilde

 
 1980 - now:

  • Peripatetic teaching at the BSN 

This work involves preparing students for ABRSM piano exams (grades 1-8) and theory exams (grades 1-6), as well as preparing students for the performance part of the GCSE Music.
